“Yeah you did, “ he hummed in replied, shrugging his shoulders with a cheeky grin on his lips. “Oh really? Cuz, I’m betting you’d probably chicken out,” he teased. Were they flirting? It’s not like Percy knew how to, or really noticed if he was. But, the punk did eventually pull away from Jack, although he held onto his hand. “Bet you’d get cold feet–” Gods, someone smack him.
Percy was making him feel warm, and Jack wouldn’t really say he minded because they’d just kissed. “Man, I fought the boogey man, you think a kiss is gonna scare me?” His snort replaced the whine that wanted to come out at the loss of body heat, and when fingers found his own, he found himself glancing down at their joined limbs. What a pretty sight. “I think you’re the one that would be getting cold feet if you spend too much time with me.” Was that supposed to be sexual?
